Year of the Snake
A nengajo is a Japanese New Year greeting card, offering well wishes for the new year. As a part of my high school Japanese classes, I created nengajos for 2022-2024. I'm no longer learning Japanese, but I thought creating a nengajo for 2025 would be an interesting way to continue my design journey.
A nengajo, per my high school Japanese teacher’s requirements, must have:
the upcoming year’s zodiac animal (the snake)
the year (令和七年）
a new years message (讙賀新年)

The Jordan Subway 1s
Winning design for Jordan Wings's 2023 design contest, for the theme "our role models". The Subway 1s are a love letter the everyday New Yorkers who keep the city moving and breathing.
Over a 7-week sprint, I conceptualized, sketched, and pitched the concept with a Wings Design Mentor and another teammate.
